We have a cabin on Austin Creek in Cazadero (Russian River Area); we spent last weekend there strolling along the creek bed, photographing animal tracks and taking in the gorgeous scenery. Today we returned from another couple of days at the cabin; the current was so high we couldn't even see the creek bed! The water level was furiously swallowing the surrounding banks.
